It’s very important to me to buy clothes that are made as fair as possible. I’ve seen the enormous size of the textile industry in Bangladesh, and the huge impact changes can have on many lives.

Our partner organisation in Bangladesh has developed a new weaving pattern. We’re very proud of them and would like to show you that jute can not only be used to make boring shopping bags. Though of course these bags are great to bring your shopping home as well!

new jute shoulder bag

We designed a new jute shoulder bag, together with our partner organisation in Bangladesh. We’ve had many requests for a shoulder bag, and we’re always a fan of them ourselves.

The bag is made from handwoven jute in a chevron pattern. As you know jute is a very environmentally friendly material, and is widely used in Bangladesh.
